Dietmar Werner (politician)
Dietmar Werner (born November 24, 1941 in Leipzig ) is a German engineer and politician . From 1990 to 1998 he was a CDU member of the Thuringian state parliament .
Dietmar Werner graduated as a galvanizer in 1960 and then worked as a laboratory assistant. From 1961 to 1964 he studied in Dresden at the engineering school for mechanical engineering and graduated with the academic degree as an engineer for electroplating. Additional studies followed and in 1969 he graduated as a specialist engineer for corrosion and corrosion protection. From 1966 to 1990 Werner worked as a project engineer, department manager, technical manager and project manager at VEB Büromaschinenwerk Sömmerda .
In 1990 Werner became chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Sömmerda district assembly . He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Kreissparkasse Sömmerda.
