Dietrich Ellger (politician)

Dietrich Ellger (* 1938 in Breslau ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hamburg citizenship .

Life and politics

Dietrich Ellger graduated from high school in Goslar in 1958 . There he studied history , English literature and political science in teaching . In 1973 he entered the school service of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg and became senior teacher at a comprehensive school .

Ellger joined the SPD in 1973. Between 1987 and 1991 he was a member of the Altona district assembly , then from 1991 to September 1993 and again from March 1994 to September 2001 a member of the Hamburg Parliament. During this time he served on the Urban Development Committee, the Transport Committee, the Committee on Property and Public Enterprises, and the Legal Committee, among others.
