Dietrich Harke

Dietrich Harke (born February 13, 1943 in Mannheim ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

He studied law in Heidelberg , Montpellier and Madrid . He completed part of his legal clerkship in La Paz , Bolivia. During his time as a research assistant at the Institute for Foreign and International Private and Business Law at the University of Heidelberg , he wrote his doctorate with a legal comparison of German, Spanish and European antitrust law .

Dietrich Harke was a professor at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences until 2005 and taught, among other things, patent law and copyright law . He founded the eight-semester diploma course in information law and was also the university's data protection officer . After teaching, he was a member of the Institute for Information Law at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences for some time.

Harke published books on the subject of property rights and various articles on property rights issues, including for the magazine c't .
