Dietrich Thränhardt

Dietrich Thränhardt (born May 31, 1941 in Breslau ) is a German political scientist .

Life

From 1961 to 1966 he studied history, German, philosophy and social sciences in Munich , Tübingen , Zurich and Erlangen . After the Philosophikum in 1965 and the Bavarian state examination in 1966 for high school teachers for history, literature and social studies in Erlangen, he completed his doctorate in 1969 with Waldemar Besson at the University of Konstanz . From 1969 to 1975 he was a research assistant at the PH Westfalen-Lippe in Münster. After his habilitation in political science in 1975, he taught from 1980 to 2008 as a professor of political science at the University of Münster .
