The Difarma SpA is a provider of health logistics Italian wholesalers . The Sassari- based company supplies pharmacies in the Sardinia region with medicines and health products through its three logistics centers. Difarma employs 126 people and in 2008 generated sales of 165 million euros.

The company was founded in 1984 by a group of Sardinian pharmacists. The aim of these was to secure supplies to the pharmacies on the spacious but sparsely populated island. For this reason, the logistics centers were built on the north-south traffic axis along the SS 131 . The headquarters in Sassari was followed by a location in Oristano in 1987 and another center in Cagliari in 1991 . In 2001 the company concluded a strategic partnership with the largest Italian health logistics company Comifar. Since then, this company has held 60 percent of Difarma.
