Difluorophenols
The difluorophenols form a group of aromatic compounds which are derived from phenol as well as from fluorobenzene or difluorobenzenes . The structure consists of a benzene ring with an attached hydroxyl group (-OH) and two fluorine atoms (-F) as substituents . Their different arrangement results in six constitutional isomers with the empirical formula C 6 H 4 F 2 O:
