Digital technology - an introduction is a multi-part German television program from the 1970s that explains the nature of the digital technology emerging at the time to the viewer . In addition to the basics, digital components such as logic gates , flip-flops , shift registers and counters as well as their practical use are presented. The program was broadcast on WDR in 1974 in 13 episodes of 30 minutes each. In particular, it turned to interested practitioners such as skilled workers and technicians.

Media association

In cooperation with the Association of German Engineers (VDI), material accompanying the broadcast was published. In addition, the VDI offered weekly seminars parallel to the broadcast.
