Dikran Chökürian (also Chökürian / Tcheugurian ; Western Armenian Տիգրան Չէօկիւրեան; Eastern Armenian իգրան Չյոկուրյան Tigran Tschjokurjan , Turkish Dikran Çöğüryan * 1884 in Gumushane , Ottoman Empire , † 1915 in Ayaş in Ankara ) was an Armenian novelist, editor, painter, writer, editor of Vosdan newspaper (in Armenian Ոստան, “The Capital”) and victim of the Armenian genocide .

He finished the Berberian College of Istanbul in 1907 and then worked as a teacher in Armenian schools. Dikran Tschjogurjan became known in 1910 through the publication of the book "Voices of the Homeland" ( Haireni zainer / Հայրենի Ձայներ), which contains various short stories. In 1914 he published the novel "Das Kloster" ( Wanke / Վանքը).

Together with his brother, who was also a writer and journalist, as well as other Armenian intellectuals, he was on April 24, 1915 arrested and killed in the same year in Ayaş near Ankara.
