House Dillinger Strasse 1 in Günzburg

The building at Dillinger Strasse 1 in Günzburg , a town in the Swabian district of Günzburg , was built in 1878. The house is a protected architectural monument .

history

The Dillinger Straße was laid out from 1776 as a post and country road to Gundelfingen and Dillingen . Before the construction of the stately house in 1878, the brewery cellar of the Dreikönigswirtschaft was located here on the market square. The brewery owner Joseph Hänle had the house built. After the doctor and surgeon Dr. Schlaegel bought the building, he set up a private surgical clinic in it. During the First World War , the clinic was used as a reserve hospital and an eastern extension was added on the street side. In 1927 there was a five-storey extension on the garden side. The clinic was closed in 1976, and today there are several medical practices in the building.
