Life

Dilraba was born on June 3, 1992 in Urumqi, Xinjiang. She grew up in a traditional family of artists. Her father was a singer and her mother is a housewife. Dilraba graduated from the Shanghai Theater Academy in 2014. She speaks Mandarin , Uyghur , and English .

Career

2013-2014
Dilraba made her acting debut with the lead role in the television drama Anarhan (2013). The drama received a nomination for "Outstanding TV Series" at the 30th Flying Goddess Award. She was then signed to Jay Walk Studio and took part in the company-produced web series V Love . Dilraba gained recognition after starring in the popular fantasy drama Swords of Legends (2014).

2015-2016
Dilraba starred in the romantic comedy Diamond Lover (2015) and was celebrated for her role as a cheeky pop star. She won the Audience's Favorite Newcomer Award at the 7th China TV Drama Awards for her performance.

In 2016, Dilraba was cast as the lead role in the sports drama Hot Girl . She won the Outstanding New Actress award at the 2016 ENAwards for her performance on the series. That same year, she was cast in her first lead role in the romantic comedy film Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice (2017) in the lead role on the big screen. For her performance, she won the Best New Actress award at the 2016 China Britain Film Festival.

2017-2018
2017 Dilraba starred in the romantic comedy drama Pretty Li Huizhen , a remake of the South Korean drama She Was Pretty . She won the China TV Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress. Next she starred in the fantasy drama Eternal Love , which gained popularity both in China and internationally. Dilraba became known to a wider audience and was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Shanghai Television Festival. In the same year Dilraba joined the fifth season of Keep Running as a performer. She then starred in the historical romance drama The King's Woman and the fantasy film Namiya , the Chinese adaptation of the Japanese novel Miracles of the Namiya General Store.

In 2018, Dilraba starred in the romantic comedy 21 Karat . She then starred in the wuxia romance drama The Flame's Daughter and the science fiction romance comedy drama Sweet Dreams . Due to its growing popularity, Dilraba was crowned Golden Eagle Goddess at the 12th China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival.

Since 2019
In 2019, Dilraba will star in the historical fantasy film Saga of Light with Chang'e . She was also announced to star in the fantasy drama Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book, and to repeat her role from Eternal Love .

Dilraba is one of the most sought-after brand ambassadors in China; she can be seen in numerous commercials. She supports several brands such as Yves Saint Laurent , Adidas , L'oreal Paris and Mikimoto . P & G's Whisper saw sales surge after signing Dilraba as a spokesperson.
