content

In the near future, humanity will discover a fourth dimension, the W. Dimension. Any amount of energy can be obtained from it, thus solving the world's energy problems. In the year 2072, the whole world will be supplied with this energy source, which is accessed via so-called coils, which are controlled by the governments and the New Tesla Energy group. But there is also a black market for coils that criminals use for themselves.

The bounty hunter Kyōma Mabuchi ( マ ブ チ ・ キ ョ ー マ ) doesn't think much of the new technology and prefers to rely on his gasoline-powered vehicle. But he earns his money hunting for illegal coils as a so-called “collector”. On one of his assignments, he meets Mira Yurizaki ( 百合 崎 ミ ラ ), the android "daughter" of the founder of New Tesla Energy. Her father, who had been hiding with her from the company for years, is tracked down by the DAB police unit at the same time. He kills himself in an explosion because he doesn't want anything more to do with New Tesla Energy - and in the process destroys all the coils in the area. Mira is rescued by Kyōma and resurrected by his client Mary and her technician Koorogi. From Mira they learn that New Tesla Energy murdered the wife and daughter of its founder and that he therefore hid from them. Now the group sought contact with him, the new management wanted to reconcile. After the death of her father, Mira has now been assigned the task of looking for the illegal coils. So Mary hires Kyōma to look after her and train her to be a collector.
