Dino Spehar (born February 8, 1994 in Osijek ) is a Croatian football player who has been under contract with the first division club Dinamo Zagreb since August 2011 .

Career

Špehar started playing football in the youth of his home club NK Osijek , where his father, the former Croatian international Robert Špehar , had already started his career. He scored more than 300 goals in various youth teams. In October 2010 Špehar signed a professional contract for three years and made his debut on October 27, 2010 at the age of 16 in a cup match against HNK Šibenik in the first team. In his first appearance in the 1st HNL , the first Croatian league, on November 13, 2010 (15th matchday) he scored his first goal in professional football in a 1-1 draw against NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica . After that he was used regularly and aroused the interest of various top European clubs with his good performance.

For the 2011/12 season, Špehar moved to the Croatian top club Dinamo Zagreb . In his first year he was only used in one league game, but at the end of the season he was able to celebrate the double of championship and cup victory with his teammates .

National team

Špehar played in various youth national teams in Croatia. For the U-17 national team he scored eight goals in 13 games, including six games (4 goals) in qualifying for the U-17 European Football Championship in 2011 , in which Croatia, however, failed in the elite round.
