Dinsdale Morgan

Dinsdale Morgan (born November 19, 1972 ) is a former Jamaican hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance . Because of his sprint strength , he was also used in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he was eliminated from the preliminary stages. In 1997 he won silver with the Jamaican 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Indoor Championships in Paris , won the Central American and Caribbean Championships in San Juan and was seventh at the World Athletics Championships in Athens .

The following year he won the Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo, came third at the World Cup in Athletics in Johannesburg and triumphed at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur .

In 1999 he was seventh again at the World Cup in Seville , in 2000 he reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Sydney , and in 2002 he was fifth at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester .
