Dioxyde is a Spanish electronic formation that was founded in 1999 by Marco Calvo with Carlos Ruiz in Madrid. The group has signed the Noise Terror Productions label , a sub-label of Dependent Records .

history

In 1999 Carlos Ruiz joined the band as a keyboard player. The band was discovered by one of their musical role models, the founder of the electro project Suicide Commando , Johan van Roy. Her first album "Torschlüsspanik" was released in 2002 under the label Dying Culture . At the end of 2003 Carlos Ruiz left the group to devote himself to his own formation, Asseptic Room . A new keyboard player was found in Jorge Bibiano (Koke). A little later, the Dying Culture label, managed by Daredo , dissolved. The search for a new marketer was delayed by a serious motorcycle accident in Calvos in 2004. With Noise Terror Productions Dioxyde found a new label, under which the second album "Social Phobia" was released in spring 2006. In addition to English, the songs are also in Spanish and German, with remixes by Agonoize and Feindflug .

Others

Dioxyde has played concerts with bands like Suicide Commando and Hocico . A highlight was their appearance at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2004. Sampler contributions were made to compilations such as the “ Zillo Club Hits” and Endzeit bunker tracks .
