Dirk Bernemann (* 1975 in Velen ) is a German author .

Life

Dirk Bernemann has been an author and musician since 1989. As a musician he played in various punk and electropunk bands; As an author he appeared on poetry slams and published in various anthologies .

In 2005 his short story volume "I saw innocence puke" was published. The sequel "I've seen innocence puke - and we fail more and more beautifully" followed in April 2007. It follows on seamlessly from the first book. Both books were recorded as audio books by Helmut Krauss in early 2007 . Both books were also adapted for the stage and premiered in the Munich theater ... and so on . In the annual poll of the music magazine ORKUS , the book "I see the innocence puke" was voted number 1 of the best books in 2006 by readers.

From the beginning of 2007 to 2008 Dirk Bernemann wrote a column in Gothic magazine. A reading tour in 2007 and 2008 took him through more than fifty German cities. The musician Phillip Boa has been a fan of Bernemann since "I saw innocence puke". On March 8, 2014, Dirk Bernemann was able to perform a homage to the artist before the Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub concert in the Coesfeld factory .

In October 2015 his first play "Bella Noir - 2 cigarettes humility" premiered in Munich at the "theater ... and so on".
