Dirk Andreas Friedriszik (born May 10, 1971 in Duisburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After attending school, Friedriszik completed an apprenticeship as an electrician, which he completed with a journeyman's examination. He then worked in the profession he had learned, most recently as a master electrician. In 1992 he began a career as a professional soldier and joined the German Armed Forces . In the following years he served, among other things, as a soldier on missions abroad in the Balkans and in Africa as well as on missions for flood protection in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. From 2002 to 2007 he worked for the Eurocorps in Strasbourg . Since 2011 he has been employed in the Bundeswehr in the civil-military cooperation area of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Command .

Friedriszik has been a member of the city council in Ludwigslust since 2014 . In the state elections in September 2016 , he was elected as a direct candidate for the SPD via the Ludwigslust-Parchim III state electoral district in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . He won the direct mandate with 28.7% of the first votes .

In addition to his professional and political activities, Friedriszik volunteers for the workers' welfare and the German Armed Forces Association .

Dirk Friedriszik is married and has three children. He lives with his family in Techentin .
