Dirk Hamm

Dirk Hamm (* 1968 in Groß-Gerau ) is a German film producer and media manager .

life and career

In 2004 Dirk Hamm founded the film production company Creado Film in Konstanz (Lake Constance).

During his business studies in Cologne, he worked as the manager of the professional golfer Alexander Cejka . Dirk Hamm also worked for The Harald Schmidt Show on Sat.1 and the Munich-based Apollo media fund group.

In 2004 Dirk Hamm co-produced the movie Kebab Connection .

In 2005 the production of the documentary Sigmund Freud followed - In the footsteps of the famous psychoanalyst, in which Woody Allen and Bernardo Bertolucci participated.

In addition, Dirk Hamm co-produced the movie The Lives of Others in 2005, which was awarded four Bavarian Film Awards , seven German Film Awards and three European Film Awards. In February 2007, The Lives of Others received the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film .

Dirk Hamm is a member of the German Film Academy.
