Dirk Otten

Dirk Otten (born January 22, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder began his career at TSG Harsewinkel and made his debut in 1986 in the first team of FC Gütersloh , which was then playing in the Oberliga Westfalen . In 1988 he moved to Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg , for which he played three games. After only one season, Otten moved to Arminia Bielefeld . With the Armines he became champion of the Oberliga Westfalen in 1990, but failed in the promotion round on the jump into the 2nd Bundesliga . By 1993 Otten had completed 101 games for Arminia and scored 23 goals. Then Otten moved to SC Verl , with whom he was runner-up in the Regionalliga West / Southwest in 1995 . After the season he moved to SpVg Beckum , for which he was also active in the Oberliga Westfalen in the 1996/1997 season and in which he appeared at least nine times as a goal scorer for the team placed in the table basement before he ended his career.
