Dirk Rauin

Dirk Rauin (born March 16, 1957 in Hückeswagen ) is a former German handball player and coach .

Career

Rauin played for VfL Gummersbach in the 1st Bundesliga until 1984, from 1984 for TUSEM Essen (1st Bundesliga) and then for DSC Wanne-Eickel in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. From 1996 to 1998 he completed his training as a handball trainer at the German Handball Federation with an A-trainer license.

Coaching activities

Today Dirk Rauin works as a special school teacher at a school for social and emotional needs in Ennepetal .

  • German cup winner: four times with VfL Gummersbach
  • European Cup of national champions: twice with VfL Gummersbach
