Dirtyphonics is a French dubstep , electro house , and drum and bass band. It was founded in Paris in 2004 and currently consists of Charly Barranger and Julien "Pitchin" Corrales. Former members of the band are Thomas Desbouvrie, Nicolas Malinowsky, James Davies and Julien Lignon.

The band was founded in Paris in 2004. At first they did not publish their own productions until 2006 when their remix of AK1's “Reggaetronik” was released. In 2008 they signed a contract with AudioPorn Records. In 2008 the debut EP, "French Fuck / Bonus Level" was released. In the following two years four more extended plays and some remixes were published.

The band has been under contract with Dim Mak Records since 2011 . After three EPs, their first studio album, Irreverence , was released on March 19, 2013 . Guest contributions come from Liela Moss , Modestep , Steve Aoki and the Foreign Beggars . The album debuted at number eight on the Beatport charts in its first week . Critics also rated the album mostly positive.

In addition to Dim Mak and AudioPorn, Dirtyphonics worked with Ultra Records and Viper Recordings, among others . They also produced remixes for artists and music groups such as The Crystal Method , Skrillex , Benny Benassi , Marilyn Manson and The Bloody Beetroots .

In 2017 they made their debut on the Canadian EDM record company Monstercat with the single Watch Out, together with Bassnectar and Ragga Twins .
