The Discovery Glacier is a wide and 15 km long glacier on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows between Mount Discovery and Mount Morning in a northerly direction on the eastern flank of the Koettlitz Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1999 based on the name of Mount Discovery . Its namesake is the RRS Discovery , research ship of the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904).
