Corruption allegations

In the summer of 2015, Peskow wore a watch on his arm that should be worth at least 500,000 euros. There were various explanations for this: While one version is said to be a loaned watch, RBC.ru reported that it was said to have been a wedding present from his bride. The news became the most talked about report of the weekend and the explanations appear doubtful due to a photo of Peskow with the watch, taken 15 weeks before the wedding. During Peskov's wedding with Tatiana Navka , the guests of the Rodina Hotel in Sochi were taken to other hotels for several million rubles.

After the wedding, the family spent a week on the luxury yacht Maltese Falcon, according to research by opposition politician Alexei Navalny . About the son from his first marriage, corruption hunter Navalny said: “He doesn't work, but he buys apartments or Ferraris, travels around and rides. This profession has a name - son of a corrupt father. ”His last known job was a job for the Russian foreign television broadcaster Russia Today until 2012.
