Dmitri Wiktorowitsch Satonski ( Russian Дмитрий Викторович Затонский ; born March 30, 1971 in Novosibirsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who played for HK Lada Tolyatti , HK Sibir Novosibirsk , HK Sibir Novosibirsk , HK and Salawat Julajew Ufa played in the Russian Super League .

Career

Dmitri Satonski began his career as a hockey player in the 1993/94 season in the Russian Super League with HK Lada Tolyatti , with whom he was CIS champion straight away in his rookie year . After the success he left the club and signed with their league rivals HK Sibir Novosibirsk , for whom he was on the ice for the following three years. From 1997 to 2006 the attacker played for HK Awangard Omsk , with whom he was runner-up in 2001 and 2006, and Russian champion in the 2003/04 season . On the European level, the left-handed shooter won the IIHF European Champions Cup with Awangard Omsk in 2005 after defeating Kärpät Oulu from the Finnish SM-liiga in the final. In the 2004/05 season, the winger was also the top scorer in the main round of the Superliga with 23 goals. Satonski ended his career after the 2006/07 season with Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for which he was only twice in the Super League on the ice. In addition, he came in his last season on four missions in their second team in the third-class Perwaja League .

International

For Russia Satonsky took part in the 2002 World Cup, where he finished second with his team.
