Dmitrijus Chocenka

Dmitrijus Chocenka (born October 4, 1983 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian computer scientist and chess master . He became the Lithuanian correspondence chess champion in 2014 .

Life

After graduating from high school, Chocenka completed a bachelor's degree in computer science at Vilnius University in 2006 . In 2011 he graduated from Mykolas Romeris University . From 2005 to 2010 he worked as a senior programmer at UAB “Informacinių projektų sistemos” and from 2010 to 2013 at UAB “Sintagma”. Since 2013 he has been an advisor to UAB "Tree Finance".

His first coach was Pavel Rubinas and then Donatas Lapienis . In 2006 he took part in the SELL games. In 2010 he was awarded the title of International Correspondence Chess Master by the International Correspondence Chess Federation . He achieved the norms for this in the preliminary round of the 17th Olympiad 2006-2008 and at the European Team Championship 2008-2011. His highest rating in correspondence chess was 2537 in the second half of 2007.

Since 2009 he has been Secretary General of Lietuvos korespondencinių šachmatų federacija .
