Dmytro Jurijowytsch Mytrofanow ( Ukrainian Дмитро Юрійович Митрофанов / Russian Дмитрий Юрьевич Митрофанов even Dmytro Yuriovich Mytrofanov * 8. November 1989 in Chernihiv ) is a Ukrainian boxer .

Amateur career

Dmytro Mytrofanow was Ukrainian welterweight champion in 2008 , and Ukrainian middleweight champion in 2012 and 2015 . In 2011 and 2016 he was runner-up.

He took part in the European Championships in 2008 , where he was eliminated in the first fight against Jack Culcay-Keth . At the European Championships in 2011 he won a bronze medal after losing in the semifinals against Maxim Koptjakow .

At the 2013 World Championships he lost to Anthony Fowler in the round of 16 . In 2016 he started at the Olympic Games in Rio , where he lost in the first fight against Christian Assomo .

Professional career

On October 27, 2017, he made his professional debut in the USA, defeating Brandon Maddox (record: 7-0).
