The Dnepr Krivi-Rih channel (Ukrainian Канал Дніпро - Кривий Ріг ; Russian Канал Днепр - Кривой Рог ) is a 41.3 km long irrigation channel in the oblast Dnipropetrowsk in the center of Ukraine . It connects to kakhovka reservoir dammed Dnepr at Marjanske in Rajon Apostolove with the South Reservoir (Ukrainian Южное водохранилище ) in Kryvyi Rih and passes the villages Apostolove and Nywa Trudowa . Its width is 4 meters and the water depth is between 3.6 and 4.3 meters.

The canal, originally planned as a shipping canal for transporting goods in and out of the Krywbass, serves to supply the city of Krywyj Rih with drinking water . It was built from 1958 to 1961 and repaired from 1975 to 1979. The shipping canal project was never implemented.
