Marjanske

Marjanske ( Ukrainian Мар'янське ; Russian Марьянское Marjanskoje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Apostolove Raion with 3900 inhabitants. The village, first mentioned in writing in 1782, is the only village in the district council of the same name.

Marjanske is located on the Dnepr , which is dammed up to the Kachowka reservoir , at the beginning of the Dnepr-Krywyj-Rih Canal .

The road N 23 runs past the place , which leads to the northwest after 27 km to the Rajonzentrum Apostolowe and further on to Kryvyi Rih and to the east after 43 km to Nikopol . In the east Marjanske adjacent to the village Hruschiwka and to the south, to the Kherson Oblast counting urban settlement type Nowoworonzowka .
