Hruschiwka ( Ukrainian Грушівка ; Russian Грушовка Gruschowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk in Apostolove Raion with 3750 inhabitants.
The present village is through relocation of 678 households of 1953 by damming the Dnieper in kakhovka reservoir submerged villages Hruschiwky ( Грушівки ) and Kuta ( Кута originated) and is the center of the district municipality of the same name. The Ukrainian ataman of the Zaporozhian Cossacks Ivan Sirko died in Hruschiwky . Until February 4, 2016 the village was called Leninske (ukr. Ленінське ) and then received its current name, based on the name of the village that sank in the lake.

Geographical location
Hruschiwka is located south of the city of Pokrov at the mouth of the Basawluk in the Dnepr , which is dammed into the Kachowka reservoir . The N 23 road runs through the village and leads 28 km west to the Apostolowe district center and further on to Kryvyi Rih and 42 km east to Nikopol . In the west, Hruschiwka borders the village of Marjanske .

For rural community Hruschiwka, still belongs on the shores of Kamianka lying village of Ust-Kamianka ( Усть-Кам'янка ⊙ ) with 338 inhabitants and an area of 107.3 hectares, the village Tscherwonyj Tik ( Червоний Тік ⊙ ) with 810 inhabitants, and settlements Tokiwske , Tscherwonyj Saporoschez ( Червоний Запорожець ⊙ ) with 110 inhabitants, Tik ( Гранітне ⊙ ) with 230 inhabitants and on the railway line Krivi Rih-Komysch-Sorja lying settlement Hranitne ( Гранітне ⊙ ) with 552 inhabitants in an area of 402 hectares .
