Doble Vida is the fourth studio album by the Argentinian rock band Soda Stereo . It is often referred to as the band's New York album. Not just because it was recorded in the metropolis, but because the cultural influence of the city makes up a large part of the sound of the record. The album was produced by Carlos Alomar, who was David Bowie's guitarist and influential musician for many years. The group is one of the first Latin American bands to record an album in the USA, as well as the first Latin American band to penetrate the US market. After selling 1 million records, their label (then CBS) awarded them an award. In the list, published by Rolling Stone magazine, of the 100 best songs of Argentine rock, La Ciudad De La Furia was ranked 48th and the video clip of the song was named the best among the top ten.
