Ruido Blanco is the name of the first live album by the Argentine power trio Soda Stereo . The album was recorded during the Signos tour in Argentina, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela.

history

The band decided to record a live album as they were touring throughout 1987. The record features tracks from their three previous albums, Soda Stereo , Nada Personal and Signos . Since the recording equipment was of poor quality, much of the recorded material could not be mixed in the studio. For the subsequent processing of the tracks used, the band worked in Barbados in Eddy Grant's Blue Wave Studio .

On the two songs Profugos and Sobredosis de TV the band was supported by the Supremes (background vocals) who had accompanied Diana Ross for years .

The live album is a product of the Signos tour. During this time the band was already preparing material for their next album Doble Vida . It contains new versions of old pieces.
