Languis is the first EP from the Argentinian rock band Soda Stereo . It was released in 1989 and is the link between the album Doble Vida from 1988 with its soul influences and the next studio album Cancion Animal from 1990 for which the band used a rockier sound.

The EP features the new song "Mundo De Quimeras", as well as the newly recorded version of the track "Los Languis" from the previous album. In addition, there are two remixes of the songs En El Borde and Lo Que Sangra (La Cupula) on the record. The new track “Mundo De Quimeras” has a catchy Latin sound that the band hadn't used before. This sound was not taken up in later releases. The arrangements were made by Lenny Pickett , who played the saxophone on Doble Vida and had made arrangements for other artists including David Bowie , Talking Heads and Laurie Anderson . After the album was released, the group played twice at the sold out The Palace in Los Angeles . This was the first time a Latin American band had played to a packed house in the United States.
