The Dolan peak is 2,070 m high and rocky mountains in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the northwestern part of the Quartz Hills, it rises 3 km west-northwest of Hendrickson Peak .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the mountain on the basis of its own surveys and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Theodore G. Dolan, glaciologist at Byrd Station from 1959 to 1960.
