Irumo Ikaruga is an optimistic and cheerful high school student. His life changes dramatically, however, as superhuman puppets descend upon the world, wiping out almost all of humanity . The survivors were enslaved. Irumo can escape the attacks of the monstrous enemy, but he has lost everything that was dear to him. When he learns that the girl of his dreams could still be alive, he joins a resistance force and fights the invaders.
