Dolmen d'Alleuzet
The Dolmen d'Alleuzet (also called Dolmen des Ternes ) is located southwest of the hamlet of Alleuzet in a small pine forest, south of the D 57 road, about west of Les Ternes , southwest of Saint-Flour in the Cantal department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The dolmen has a thick ceiling plate over three meters long, which rests at an angle on the two small supporting stones on the side. The dolmen lies in the remains of a large cairn and is classified as a monument historique .
Nearby is the Dolmen de la Table du Loup .
