The Dolmen de la Pierre Cesée is located east of La Piliére and Soucelles , in the Maine-et-Loire department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The Dolmen de la Pierre Cesée is a megalithic complex of the angevin type made of sandstone . It has a 7.0 × 3.0 m long and about 1.8 m high rectangular chamber with a portal at the eastern end. The chamber is covered by a single capstone that is broken in two places. Support stones on both sides support the capstone. The dolmen opens to the east, where two slabs of the portico and other stones have been preserved. The ceiling plate of the portal is missing. The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1910.
