The northern dolmen of Briande 1 ( 46 ° 57 ′ 1 ″ N, 0 ° 1 ′ 3 ″ E ) is about 250 m east of the large tumulus of Chassigny , in the direction of the Roche Briande farm. The approximately 6.0 meters long, 2.0 meters wide and high dolmen has three cap stones that sit on three pairs of bearing stones.

The south-facing dolmen of Briande 2 ( 46 ° 56 '47 "N, 0 ° 1' 4" E ) is a dolmen of the "angevin" type with a forward portal, the collapsed remains of which are in the southeast. The chamber, measuring around 5.0 mx 3.0 m, was covered with a single large capstone that fell on one side.

Dolmen 1 has been protected as a monument historique since 1978 and dolmen 2 since 1980 .
