The Union of Communists of Montenegro ( Serbo-Croatian Savez komunista Crne Gore / Савез комуниста Црне Горе, SKCG / СКЦГ) was a communist party in Yugoslavia and part of the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia , the ruling party in the former Yugoslavia.

history

The party was founded in 1943 as the Communist Party of Montenegro before being incorporated into the Communist Party of Yugoslavia . At the beginning of the 1990s, tensions between the republics of Yugoslavia brought the BdKJ to a collapse. On June 22, 1992 the party was dissolved. The direct successor was the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro . In 1993 a new communist party of Montenegro was founded.
