Kerangré dolmen
The Kerangré dolmen is located near the hamlets of Kerangré and Tenat de Kerascouet, west of Erdeven in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ). It is a gangdolmen ( French dolmen à couloir ) and has been classified as a historical monument since 1936 .
The chamber of the dolmen is roughly semicircular. It is bounded by several orthostats, which are complemented by smaller blocks and covered with a plate. Only two bearing stones and a cover plate have survived from the corridor. No remains of the hill that used to cover it have survived.
