Laverré dolmen

The Laverré dolmen (also called La Pierre-Levée (Aslonnes)) is located about one kilometer south of the village of Roches-Prémarie-Andillé , east of Laverré near Aslonnes in the Vienne department in France . The dolmen is behind a lonely house northwest of the road. The sparse trees are perhaps the remnants of an overgrown tumulus around the rectangular dolmen. In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The large capstone lies on a chamber of 3.5 × 2.5 m, the long sides, two side stones, two end stones; of which has one at the east end where the entrance is.

The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1889 .
