Domenico Armellini

Domenico Armellini (born June 24, 1769 in Rome , † December 17, 1828 there ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Terni .

Life

The ordination received Domenico Armellini on 16 March 1793. He then served as pastor at Sant'Eustachio and as an examiner for the clergy of Rome. On June 14, 1823 he was appointed consultor of the Congregation Propaganda Fide , on May 20, 1822 also consultor of the Index Congregation . On September 1, 1822, he was appointed Doctor iuris utriusque by papal grace .

Pope Pius VII appointed him Bishop of Terni on December 2, 1822. He was ordained bishop on January 12, 1823 in Rome by the Cardinal Bishop of Albano , Pietro Francesco Galleffi ; Co-consecrators were Archbishop Giuseppe Della Porta Rodiani and Bishop Giovanni Francesco Falzacappa . Domenico Armellini died five years later in Rome.
