Domenico Piazoll
Domenico Piazoll , surnamed also Piazzoli , Piassall , Piassoll , Piazol (unknown * Year of birth and place of birth, † before, 31 October 1719 in Vienna ) was an Austrian plasterer of the Baroque .
The Piazolli family were bricklayers, builders and plasterers and came to Vienna from Milan (Como) .
He had six children with his wife Katharina. The son Johann Georg (* 1685) was also a plasterer in Steyr .
Works
In 1686 he and Christoph Prändl made the stucco work in the nave of the parish church in Hietzing, and work in the monastery and church in Dürnstein has also come down to us. In 1698, in collaboration with Hans Georg Greiner, he stuccoed the vaults of the main nave and transept of the Klosterneuburg collegiate church . He then worked for Zwettl Abbey and Mirabell Palace in Salzburg.
