Dominic Hassler (born March 30, 1981 in Lienz ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker .

Career

Dominic Hassler began his career in his hometown Irschen in Carinthia with the local sports club. In 2000 he moved to the first division club SV Austria Salzburg and made his first team debut there in 2002, and a year later he scored his first goal for the Salzburg Violets. In January 2004 he moved to Graz to the Grazer AK , with which he became Austrian champion and cup winner in 2004. In 2005 he moved on loan for six months after Linz to LASK Linz in the First League .

After the GAK began to stumble financially for the first time, Hassler came back without further ado and became a regular on the Mur . After the GAK's license revocation and the forced relegation of the GAK to the Middle Regional League (3rd division), Hassler left the sinking ship in 2007 and hired a little further north of Graz at FC Gratkorn , where he worked as an all-rounder (can be used in midfield, central defense and storm) up to played in January 2009.

On January 14th, 2009 he finally signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Sturm Graz , with which he reached fourth place in the table in 2009. With an operation against FK Austria Wien on September 26, 2010 Hassler was Austrian football champion in the 2010/11 season. In summer 2011 he moved to the first league promoted FC Blau-Weiß Linz .
