Dominik Borutzki (born June 7, 1990 in Essen ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Dominik Borutzki played for TSV Heimaterde Mülheim as a child , before he joined Rot-Weiß Oberhausen when he was thirteen . There he went through the further youth years and already trained as an A-youth with the second division team.
When the defender finally moved to the senior division the following year, knee surgery threw him back at the beginning of the 2009/10 season. By the end of the season, he was no longer able to join the first team. The bad luck with injuries remained loyal to him and after a metatarsal fracture he missed the start of the following season. In order to regain his form and to recommend himself for a further commitment, he played the rest of the 2010/11 season in the second team.
His contract was extended and in the 2011/12 season he was back in the extended circle of the first team. When two players were suspended and two more injured on matchday 16, the defense had to be changed and Borutzki got his chance against Arminia Bielefeld from the start . Despite a clear defeat, he maintained his place as a right defender in the following five games. As captain of the reserve team, he returned to the Lower Rhine League after the winter break . In the summer of 2013 he joined the top division TV Jahn Hiesfeld . After two seasons he moved to the league competitor SV Hönnepel-Niedermörmter and after its relegation from the Oberliga in 2017 to VfB Speldorf .
