Dominik Jackson

Dominik Jackson (born April 21, 1984 in Scampton , Lincolnshire , England ) is a retired British racing driver .

Career

After Jackson started his motorsport career in karting , he switched to formula racing in 2002 and finished sixth in the British Zip Formula. In 2003 he competed in the German Formula BMW for the ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg . While his teammate Maximilian Götz won the championship title, Jackson finished seventh with two wins. In 2004 he stayed with his team and achieved three podium finishes. At the end of the season he improved to fifth place in the drivers' standings. His teammate Sebastian Vettel won the championship title this season with 18 victories from 20 races. Jackson also took part in four races of the US Formula BMW and finished twelfth overall.

In 2005 Jackson went to two races for the JVA team in the 3000 Pro Series . Although he was third and fourth, his team did not use him in any other races. In the overall ranking he was tenth. In 2006 the Briton did not get a cockpit for a full season again and he competed in two races in the Pacific F2000, of which he won one, and in four races in the US Formula Ford 2000. He finished 17th in the Pazific F2000 and 23rd. in the US Formula Ford 2000.

In 2007 he competed in Formula Palmer Audi for half a season . He was 16th overall. His last race as a driver was in 2008 in the Superleague Formula . At the Tottenham Hotspur team, which is supported by GTA Motor Competición , he represented Duncan Tappy on a race weekend.
