Dominik Reisinger

Dominik Reisinger (born March 20, 1972 in Haslach an der Mühl ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). He has been the mayor of Haslach an der Mühl since 2008 and has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Upper Austrian state parliament since October 8, 2018 .

Life

Dominik Reisinger attended elementary and secondary school in Haslach an der Mühl from 1986 to 1989 at the technical college for textile technology there . He then worked as a textile technician. After military service in 1994/95, he completed the basic course for police officers in Linz in 1996 . Since 1995 he has been a police officer at the State Police Directorate for Upper Austria . He passed the university entrance qualification examination for law and attended the security academy for police officers on duty in Vienna in 2004 .

In 2007 he became local party chairman of the SPÖ Haslach an der Mühl, where he succeeded Norbert Leitner as mayor in 2008. Since 2011 Reisinger has also been the district chairman of the SPÖ in the Rohrbach district . Since October 8, 2018, he has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Upper Austrian Landtag . He replaced Michael Lindner , who moved to the state parliament.

Reisinger is married and has two daughters.
