Dominika Valachová (born June 4, 1986 in Komárno ) is a Slovak volleyball player .

Career

Valachová started her career at the club in her hometown Komárno. In 2003 she moved to ŠG Nitra . After three years, she went to Doprastav Bratislava in 2006 . In 2012 she was named volleyball player of the year. In the same year Valachová moved to the Romanian first division club Dinamo Bucharest . With the club she played in the Champions League . In 2013 the Libera of the Slovak national team was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen . With Aachen she reached the semifinals of the German championship in 2014. In the 2015/16 season she was with the Ladies in Black in the DVV Cup final , which was lost 3-2 to Allianz MTV Stuttgart . Both are among the greatest successes in Aachen volleyball. In the 2015/16 Bundesliga season, the Aacheners were eliminated in the pre-playoffs and had to file for bankruptcy, whereupon Valachová left the club. From 2016 to 2018 she played in the French premier league with Vandoeuvre Nancy before ending her active career.
