Dominique Bijotat (born January 3, 1961 in Chassignolles , Département Indre ) is a French football coach.

Career as a player

Bijotat played in the youth for the US La Châtre , US Montgivray and for the youth division of AS Monaco . In the senior sector , he was also active for AS Monaco, Girondins Bordeaux and LB Chateauroux .

He played eight international matches for the French senior team between 1982 and 1988 . He made his debut on August 31, 1982 in the 4-0 defeat by Poland .

Career as a coach

From 1999 to 2002 he was the coach of the second team at RC Lens . Then he was a coach at Clermont Foot Auvergne until 2004 . After a stopover at FC Sochaux (2005/06), he was the sports director of the youth performance center of his former club, AS Monaco, from 2006 to 2008 . He gave this up in 2008 to then take over the coaching position at his other former club, LB Châteauroux . From 2010 he was a coach at FC Metz .
