Dominique Jann (born March 21, 1977 in St. Gallen ) is a Swiss actor.

Life

Jann grew up in Zimmerwald and obtained the primary school teacher certificate at the Muristalden teacher training college in 1999. For his further career, he chose to train at the Zurich University of Music and Theater , which he completed in 2004 with a diploma in performing arts. Since then, Jann has appeared in several Swiss films, theater and dance pieces.

Among other things, he starred in the films Strähl (2004), Marmorera (2007), Tag am Meer (2008, director: Moritz Gerber ), Luftbusiness (2008, director: Dominique de Rivaz ), Die Registresbeamtin (2009) and had leading roles in Unter der Haut (2015) and Welcome to Iceland (2016, directed by Felix Tissi ).

In 2009, Jann won the Swiss Film Award for Best Actor for his role in air business .
