Teaching

  • The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to what Carson speaks and passionately teaches frequently
  • Everything begins with the sovereign God, only then does the word of God come ; without God we can not trust the scriptural interpretation because people are flawed by the fall and limited by culture
  • The Bible is the special revelation of God, which is reliable and in error free in the original text . The interpretation must also be seen in the context of biblical, historical and systematic theology
  • Cultural criticism : Carson criticizes today's postmodern philosophy with its intolerant tolerance , which has negative effects. He compares the modern and the postmodern with a mother and an illegitimate child who later devoured his mother. He is also rather skeptical about the emerging church as a Christian answer to postmodern culture and justifies this in his book: Emerging Church
  • Pastoral Teaching Service: Carson is a versatile, thorough, and differentiated teacher; in his teaching he draws clear conclusions and conclusions and also expects effects from his listeners
