Donald Gehrmann
Donald Gehrmann ( Donald Arthur "Don" Gehrmann; born November 16, 1927 in Milwaukee ) is a former American middle-distance runner .
In 1948 he qualified with a victory over 1500 m in the US eliminations for the Olympic Games in London , where he was eighth.
In 1952 he was US indoor champion over 1000 yards . As a student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison , he won the NCAA title over 1,500 m or in the mile run three times in a row .
